How are you feeling as DC's birthday comes closer? Are you feeling sad about it? Excited? Anxious?
I'm starting to feel a little nostalgic about DS's first birthday. I can't believe he's already going to be one. I feel like we just brought him home from the hospital. It makes me a little sad just because time is going by so fast, but it has been really fun watching him turn from a baby into a little boy.

I am pretty excited that his first birthday is coming up! I can't believe it's almost been a year already, but the fact that we got through his first year makes me really proud too. It was really tough at first (he was a totally high needs newborn...colic, reflux, blahhh) but as the year went on, things leveled out and we love being able to see his personality now and all the new things he's achieving! His party will hopefully be a blast, and we're looking forward to everything ahead!
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about it. Things started out rough for us, but it seems that over the last couple months there has been an explosion of new things going on in him. I can't wait to see what the next year will bring!
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited about planning the party but the thought of him turning one makes me sad. This year has flown by. I wish time would slow down just a little.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jennifer. I love planning Meredith's first birthday party. We are having it outdoors at our local park and we are all so excited. But I think...where did this year go? I cannot believe she will be turning one year. Everyone told me that it would go by fast. I have treasured every minute of her first year...I just wish it would slow down as well!
